Weekend Night Shift RN – Critical Access Hospital Join our dedicated team at a community-based, patient-focused critical access hospital where your skills truly make an impact. We’re looking for a Registered Nurse to work weekend night shifts in a unique role that offers variety and collaboration. As part of our close-knit team, you’ll work across multiple capacities while partnering closely with physicians and ancillary staff to deliver exceptional care to our community. We are looking to hire a Weekend Package Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department in Aledo, IL! Come join our dynamic team at our local critical access hospital. Additional compensation for the weekend package Night shift differential Plus, the regular weekend differential Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (48/52 weekends per year) POSITION PURPOSE Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally competent care for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions. Utilizes evidence-based practice and critical thinking to assess, triage, plan, implement, and evaluate care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The Emergency Room (ED) RN manages a diverse patient population across all age groups and conditions, including trauma, cardiac, neurological, and behavioral health emergencies. Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, Emergency Room Techs, and other ED team members. Facilitates communication with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Adheres to MercyOne’s performance expectations and upholds the Mission, Vision, and Values of MercyOne.

Requirements

Associate degree in nursing required.
Current Illinois (IL) RN license
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing(BSN) preferred.
