Step in, make an impact, and help youth turn challenges into opportunities. Come join YSS as an Emergency Bed Program Coordinator in our Youth Opportunity Center. As an E-bed Coordinator you'll provide hands-on, one-on-one support to young adults (ages 18–24) experiencing homelessness, as well as unaccompanied minors in our care. You’ll guide participants through goal setting, skill development, and crisis situations while promoting self-efficacy and independence. In this role, you’ll assess strengths and needs, connect participants to community resources, and coordinate referrals to ensure each young person has the support they need. You’ll also deliver Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS), focusing on participant-centered care, skill building, and mental health advocacy. Acting as a bridge between therapy services and participants, you’ll foster engagement, support positive linkages with family, schools, and community, and empower youth to overcome challenges. You may also provide youth advocacy duties, offering direct supervision and support as needed, while actively promoting the safety, well-being, and growth of each participant.
