About The Position

You will be responsible for transforming client concepts and designs into precise digital embroidery files, ensuring compatibility with our embroidery machines. This role bridges the gap between design and production, requiring a strong sense of aesthetics as well as technical accuracy.     The following schedule is available for this role:  Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30 PM   Starting Pay:   $21 per hour  Location: 3591 Volunteer Blvd, Henderson, NV 89044

Requirements

  • Proven experience in embroidery digitizing and machine operation.
  • Proficiency in embroidery software (Wilcom, Pulse, Bernina, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of stitch types, densities, and fabric behavior.
  • Ability to interpret and modify vector and raster files (AI, PNG, JPG, SVG).
  • Keen eye for detail and aesthetics in design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, comfortable with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in graphic design or textile design is preferred.
  • Familiarity with machine brands like Tajima, Brother, or Barudan is preferred. 
  • Experience with color matching and thread types is preferred. 

Responsibilities

  • Digitize logos, artwork, and custom designs using embroidery software (e.g., Wilcom, DG 17, Hatch, Brother PE-Design, etc.)
  • Convert customer-provided images and files into stitch-ready embroidery formats.
  • Optimize designs for various fabric types and machine capabilities.
  • Work closely with clients or internal teams to interpret design needs and offer solutions.
  • Conduct test runs on embroidery machines to ensure quality and adjust as needed.
  • Maintain a digital library of embroidery files and documentation.
  • Invoice according to defined billing parameters depending on stitches and count.
  • Stay up to date with design trends and embroidery techniques to improve output.
  • Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting of embroidery machines, if required.
  • Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests)
