About The Position

We are looking for an Embedded Account Executive, Aerospace & Defense, to join our Global Sales Team . Tuxera is a world-leading provider of quality-assured data management and networking software. Our technology powers aircraft, spacecraft, defense systems, vehicles, and mission-critical embedded platforms — ensuring data is always safe, accessible, and high-performing. From our origins in open-source file system innovation, we have grown into the largest team of file system and storage developers in the world. Today, our software is trusted by leading aerospace and defense organizations, OEMs, and technology suppliers worldwide. About the Role As Account Executive, Aerospace & Defense , you will drive Tuxera’s expansion within the global aerospace and defense markets. You are a results-oriented, self-driven professional with a strong background in complex B2B sales and a passion for advanced embedded technology. Your focus will be on developing new business and strategic partnerships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and system integrators across the US — promoting Tuxera’s embedded data management solutions for high-reliability and safety-critical environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced technology sales across the US.
  • Proven track record of winning business with European/US primes or leading OEMs.
  • Strong knowledge of US industrial clusters and supplier networks
  • Background in embedded systems, software, or technology solutions ; understanding of composites or materials is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills across technical and executive levels.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a global team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies targeting US aerospace and defense sectors
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation and qualification through bidding and closing.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and technical buyers
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams to scope and quote complex embedded software solutions.
  • Report sales metrics , client feedback, and competitive insights to inform business and product strategy.
