About The Position

As an Eligibility Coordinator you will play a crucial role in ensuring that members receive the care they need. You will be responsible for verifying member eligibility for various healthcare programs and services and communicating with members and healthcare providers to resolve any issues. ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. Your attention to detail and ability to navigate healthcare regulations will be essential in this role. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to improve member outcomes and experiences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare eligibility verification required
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities
