About The Position

Kenowa Hills Public Schools is seeking a collaborative and student-centered leader to serve as the K–4 Summer School Administrator. This individual will lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality summer program focused on student engagement, academic support, and enrichment. Requirements

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate required
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to servant leadership and a positive, student-centered mindset

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of effective teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design and implementation of summer school programming
• Collaborate with staff to develop schedules, instructional plans, and enrichment opportunities
• Plan and implement daily enrichment activities
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and program updates
• Oversee student attendance and behavior using PBIS-aligned practices
• Coordinate logistics with Food Service, Maintenance, and Transportation departments
• Ensure completion of all required state and federal reporting
• Facilitate program evaluation and continuous improvement
• Perform additional duties as needed to support program success
