Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, or other educational field
  • Valid Michigan School Administrator Certification or the ability to obtain certification
  • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and community members
  • Successful experience as a classroom teacher
  • 3-5 years of school leadership or administrative experience preferred
  • Previous experience with data-driven instruction to improve culture and academic outcomes
  • Experience with turnaround schools/CSI designated schools
