The Electronics Technician will play a critical role in ensuring timely, efficient communications and IT support to hundreds of users in a high-security environment. You will directly contribute to the operational readiness and effectiveness of federal law enforcement operations. The selected candidate will strengthen their expertise in telecommunications and IT service management, federal contract execution, and customer engagement. The candidate will provide telecommunications and IT support for expeditionary mission and exercise support the FBI’s Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG). A typical day is spent at the ERF facility in Quantico, VA, conducting maintenance on unit vehicle and communications equipment, providing system updates on communications equipment, researching new technologies, and conducting and receiving training on new equipment. Employees are on-call to mobilize and deploy on short notice in response to unit deployment.
