Requirements

  • Associates degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience in related field
  • Computer and electronics technician with a minimum of 1-year diagnose and repair experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Organized – ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Adaptability and ability to work under pressure – time management
  • Effective problem-solving abilities – for technical issues

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems, software (i.e. Windows, Linux, Mac) and hardware (i.e. PC, monitor)
  • Experience and understanding with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems (SAP)
  • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
  • ERP Systems – SAP, SFDC
  • Familiarity with 5s methodology

Responsibilities

  • Testing and inspection of Elo products returned from customers
  • Pre and post repair cleaning of customer returned product
  • Loading and unloading of bench or repair cell inventory
  • Pick and stage of customer return product for repair
  • Complete repairs by adjusting, calibrating, aligning, modifying, repairing or replacing parts, components or circuitry
  • Document repair information into database (SAP and Excel) and quality data collection is required
  • Maintain safe work environment by following codes and standards
  • Follow all ISO and EH&S procedures
  • To maintain a work station to a 5s standard as defined by Elo
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on process improvements
  • Ability to solder and de-solder to industry standards
  • Attention to detail
  • Organized – ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Adaptability and ability to work under pressure – time management
  • Effective problem-solving abilities – for technical issues
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by manager
