About The Position

This position requires full-time in-person work in Perry Hall, MD. The Electronic Banking & Payments Manager oversees the daily operations, performance, and compliance of the Bank's electronic banking channels and payment systems. This role ensures efficient delivery of ACH, digital banking, debit cards, bill pay, faster payments, and fraud monitoring services while leading a team and partnering across the organization to support operational excellence and strategic initiatives. Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree or business/finance coursework preferred
  • 5+ years of banking operations experience with deposit products and services
  • Strong experience with digital banking, remote channels, ACH, and debit card platforms
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Solid knowledge of deposit‑related regulations (NACHA, Reg E, Reg CC, BSA/AML, etc.)
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with core banking systems and Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to commute to our office in Perry Hall, MD five days per week
  • Must be able to remain in a standing position for extended periods (approximately 50% of the time).
  • Occasionally required to move about the office to access files, equipment, and other resources.
  • Constant use of computer and office equipment including calculator, copier, and printer.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ACH origination and receipt, including returns, claims, settlements, and NACHA compliance
  • Oversee online, mobile, and business digital banking platforms and related payment services
  • Manage faster payments and transfer channels, including Zelle®, RTP, FedNow®, and RDC
  • Oversee debit card operations, ATM networks, disputes, vendors, and fraud alerts
  • Lead fraud monitoring, exception processing, claims, and deposit collections
  • Serve as escalation point for complex customer and operational issues
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing operations team
  • Support regulatory compliance, vendor management, audits, system upgrades, and new product implementations
