About The Position

This seasonal position is responsible for processing Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, including ACH returns, Notices of Change (NOCs), disputes, research, and other ACH-related functions. The role ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal procedures while meeting strict processing deadlines.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Processes and balances incoming and outgoing ACH files while maintaining confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of the data.
• Handles ACH disputes in accordance with Regulation E (Reg E) and internal policies.
• Processes ACH returns, NOCs, prenotes, death alerts, treasury returns, and exception returns over Fedline.
• Researches and resolves phone and email inquiries related to ACH transactions, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Maintains department records, logs, and spreadsheets related to ACH processing for tracking and compliance purposes.
• Assists with administrative and project-related tasks within the ACH operations team.
• Adheres to the Bank’s risk management program in all ACH processing activities.
