About The Position

Keep a high-output flexible packaging facility running at peak reliability by mastering both cutting-edge automation and dependable legacy machines. Your craftsmanship directly influences safety, uptime, and product quality. How You’ll Contribute Own electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair across slitters, laminators, and printing lines Apply LOTO and safe work practices every time Read and act on electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Use a multimeter to verify and troubleshoot motors, contactors, relays, and components Diagnose issues on PLC-controlled systems and electrical controls Maintain chillers, compressors, and process/ink/glue pump systems Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to limit downtime Drive root cause analysis; document all work thoroughly in the CMMS Safeguard efficient, safe operation of all production equipment Your First 90 Days Days 1–30: Learn equipment portfolio and safety standards; become fluent in CMMS and site LOTO procedures Days 31–60: Lead independent troubleshooting on night shift; reduce repeat failures through targeted corrective actions Days 61–90: Optimize PMs, mentor peers as needed, and collaborate on PLC/control improvements Profile That Fits Industrial maintenance or military maintenance background Demonstrated strength in electro-mechanical diagnostics

Requirements

  • Industrial maintenance or military maintenance background
  • Demonstrated strength in electro-mechanical diagnostics
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable working on ladders and lifts
  • Self-directed on rotating off-shifts; willing to work overtime and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PLCs, motor controls, and industrial control systems (preferred)
  • Flexible packaging familiarity (extrusion, flexographic printing, lamination, slitting) is advantageous
  • Forklift experience preferred
