About The Position

Is this you? Do you enjoy diagnosing complex issues in industrial equipment and fixing them right the first time? Are you comfortable working across electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems—including high-voltage environments? Do you thrive traveling to different sites, collaborating with customers, and documenting your work clearly? What You’ll Do Break-fix and PM: Observe equipment in operation, isolate root causes, adjust control instruments, replace defective parts, and restore performance. Hands-on machining: Set up and run lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools; perform welding as needed to fabricate or repair components. Industrial controls: Use standard processes within industrial control systems to analyze issues, maintain equipment, and resolve problems. Parts and planning: Identify required parts, supplies, and repair items; work with minimal supervision to meet industry standards. Customer partnership: Execute maintenance, reliability, and preventative procedures with customer counterparts; follow customer codes of conduct, housekeeping, and safety processes. Documentation: Record activities in service reports and applicable management systems with accuracy. Professional growth: Complete on-the-job training and self-study to expand your technical range. Safety first: Follow all safety policies, regulations, and technical instructions; maintain situational awareness and flag unsafe conditions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree (technical) plus 5 years of related industry experience; or 7 years of related industry experience.
  • Competent with basic and specialized tools.
  • Demonstrated ability with electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems; capable of analyzing problems, proposing alternatives, and executing repairs.
  • Extensive travel required—local, national, and international.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PM techniques, precision measurement, mechanical alignments, and general maintenance of process equipment.
  • Exposure to PLCs, field devices, and drive/motor systems.
