A day in this role As the go-to specialist for complex equipment issues, you’ll move from line to line solving problems that span mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and control systems. You’ll coach teammates, restore worn components back to “as built” condition in the parts repair shop, and optimize systems for quality, yield, and cost. You’ll also contribute to equipment retrofits, upgrades, SOP updates, and validation protocols—keeping production steady and compliant.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • 1 year of relevant maintenance experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on machine maintenance background.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
  • Technical school certification or equivalent training/experience (e.g., manufacturing technology, electrical engineering).

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive/corrective maintenance on production assets across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.
  • Partner with production and maintenance teammates to resolve technical issues and share best practices.
  • Rebuild and restore used components in the parts repair shop to drive annual cost avoidance.
  • Enhance maintenance programs (preventive, corrective, predictive, and spare parts).
  • Assist with equipment retrofits and upgrades; draft or revise SOPs and shop repair instructions.
  • Optimize equipment and processes for balanced gains in quality, throughput, yield, and cost.
  • Support completion of validation protocols.
