You will own complex maintenance tasks end to end, while developing your expertise and mentoring others. Core Responsibilities Perform intermediate-to-advanced preventive and corrective maintenance to industry standards. Diagnose root causes by observing equipment in operation; disassemble assemblies, inspect components, make precise adjustments, replace defective parts, and verify operation. Execute electrical and mechanical testing; troubleshoot hardware, software, and configuration issues within control systems. Recondition and repair machine tools; operate metalworking equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder) and perform welding when required. Identify and procure parts, supplies, and repair materials efficiently. Leverage predictive maintenance tools to collect performance data and inform decisions. Maintain rigorous 5S and housekeeping practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting process enhancements, measurable results, and cost savings. Document work meticulously in the CMMS and review historical records to guide actions. Assist junior technicians and provide direction to small groups as needed; take on advanced duties to support your own development. Commit to ongoing learning through on-the-job experiences and technical self-study. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, instructions, and guidelines; remain situationally aware and correct unsafe conditions or behaviors.
