About The Position

Join Our Team as a Plant Facilities Maintenance Technician You’ll report to: Facilities Manager | Department: 506 Is this you? Do you keep industrial equipment humming through disciplined preventive maintenance? Can you quickly troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC problems? Are you calm and effective when the radio crackles with an urgent downtime call? Do you enjoy collaborating with production to minimize disruptions and boost efficiency?

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical credentials preferred.
  • 3–5 years in a maintenance mechanic capacity within manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Fluency with industrial machinery, electrical systems, and HVAC fundamentals.
  • Expert troubleshooting skills for complex, multi-system problems.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in maintenance operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Skilled with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail; able to work independently.
  • Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and perform active tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform preventive maintenance to extend the life of machinery and building systems.
  • Diagnose and fix issues across conveyors, pumps, motors, and other mechanical assets.
  • Respond rapidly to emergency maintenance requests to reduce downtime.
  • Conduct recurring inspections to catch wear and tear before it becomes a failure.
  • Complete general facility upkeep (doors, windows, walls, lighting) to maintain a safe, clean workspace.
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Maintain precise records of repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
  • Partner with the Facilities Manager on maintenance calendars and spare parts management.
  • Work to company safety policies and all applicable regulations.
