Leidos’ Defense Systems Manufacturing Platform Integration Facility (PIF) is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will thrive in learning environments that encourage leadership and technical growth. E xperienced individual will work closely with a team of engineers and customers to design and build hardware to meet unique technical requirements. Selected candidate will bring a diverse set of skills and an aptitude for solving complex problems. You will interpret drawings and use critical thinking to not only build and fabricate production and prototype hardware, as well as test and deploy the hardware. Requirements

• High school diploma/GED with at least 1 or more years of experience working in an aerospace manufacturing environment or related experience and/or training.
• Experience reading schematic drawings and other manufacturing documentation.
• Experience building electrical and/or mechanical systems.
• IPC-WHMA-A-620 training or prove the ability to perform cable fabrication work.
• Interest in fabrication of hardware, be mechanically inclined, and demonstrate a good work ethic and responsibility.
• Good communication skills, working well on a team with diverse skillsets, working in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to take on a variety of duties to help the team be successful.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Candidate must be a resident of North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville-North Alabama area.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
