About The Position

Pure Fishing is seeking a skilled and motivated Electro/Mechanical Technician, on 2nd shift to help keep our production lines running smoothly. If you’re ready for a hands-on role where every day brings something new, we want to hear from you. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of machinery and mechanical systems—from motors and conveyors to pumps, fans, and air conditioning units.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, or an associate degree plus at least one (1) year of hands-on experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming.
  • Expertise in electrical controls troubleshooting and applications.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to work.
  • High energy and enthusiasm for process improvement.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical issues through detailed equipment inspections.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and components as needed.
  • Adjust and fine-tune mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Clean and lubricate parts to maintain efficiency and longevity.
  • Identify, source, and order replacement parts as necessary.
  • Inspect completed repairs to verify functionality and quality.
  • Consistently adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Request new tools, materials, or equipment as required.
  • Operate shop tools such as mills, drill presses, and lathes with precision.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
  • Work independently, adapting methods and tools to solve unique challenges.
  • Resolve most technical issues independently, escalating only complex problems when needed.
  • Mentor and support less experienced technicians when appropriate.
  • Fabricate custom parts and solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support overall team success.
