About The Position

TekPro is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Technician for a flexible packaging manufacturing facility operating a mix of modern automated equipment and legacy machinery, including slitters, laminators, and printing equipment. This role is ideal for a strong electro-mechanical troubleshooter who is polished, safety-focused, and capable of working independently on off-shifts while supporting and training others when needed.

Requirements

• Industrial maintenance or military maintenance experience
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
• PLC, motor controls, and industrial controls experience preferred
• Flexible packaging experience (extrusion, flexographic printing, lamination, slitting) a plus
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders and lifts
• Comfortable working independently on rotating off-shifts, including overtime and weekends

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on production equipment
• Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and safe machine operation
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Test and troubleshoot motors, contactors, relays, and components using a multimeter
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and electrical controls
• Maintain and repair chillers, compressors, process pumps, ink pumps, and glue pumps
• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance with minimal downtime
• Diagnose root cause issues and document repairs in the CMMS
• Maintain safe and efficient operation of all production equipment
