Electro-Mechanical Technician (3rd shift)
About The Position
Chelten House Products, LLC. is a fourth-generation, family-owned, food industry manufacturer with facilities in Swedesboro, New Jersey. We are an industry leader widely recognized for our commitment to creating the finest tasting pasta sauces, salad dressings, salsas, ketchups, and other sauces and blends. We need an Electro-Mechanic who is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to achieve our sites’ business goals, specializing in electromechanical systems like automated and computer-controlled manufacturing machinery.
Requirements
- Basic electrical and variable frequency drive knowledge
- High School Education or GED
- Previous electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, minimum 1 year
- 2+ years’ work experience in the food manufacturing industry, industrial electrical and mechanical repairs and technical support for industrial equipment and ancillary equipment.
- Strong team player - good communication (written and verbal), with the ability to train others
Nice To Haves
- TIG or WIG welding is a plus
- Industrial Technical courses in Industrial Technology preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment, including but not limited to motors, conveyors, and production machines
- Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment
- Install new equipment and perform modifications to existing equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Document all maintenance and repair work performed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
