About The Position

Join Our Reliability Team Location: Battle Creek, MI | Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor Keep advanced manufacturing equipment running at peak performance. If you thrive on solving complex issues across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems—and you lead with safety—you’ll feel right at home. Your Impact Own preventive maintenance across production assets to reduce unplanned downtime. Triage and resolve faults, including safe live-panel troubleshooting on 120/208/240/480V systems. Drive continuous improvement: Kaizens, lean projects, and maintenance KPI attainment. Support diverse processes: thermal forming, adhesive and molding, Isocyanate foam, high-pressure water cutting, and assembly. Operate PITs, aerial lifts, and cranes in accordance with safety procedures. Program/edit PLC/HMI platforms: A-B SLC-500, ControlLogix, PanelView, PanelView Plus.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a manufacturing maintenance role and 3+ years supporting automated machinery.
  • Solid mechanical skill set; ability to interpret machine drawings and electrical/control schematics.
  • Comfort using machining tools, powered hand tools, and standard maintenance equipment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and any production shift; overtime beyond 40 hours/week is essential.
  • Mechanical and heavy equipment repair
  • Electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair
  • High-voltage systems and machine safety inspections
  • Pneumatics troubleshooting and servo motor familiarity
