About The Position

Ready to join the NOVA team? NOVA Automation is a fun, creative, fast paced industrial automation company in Denver Colorado. You’re a skillful Electrical Assembler who’s passionate for partaking in the daily operations of building and manufacturing equipment. Position: Electrical Assembly Operator Schedule: 5:30 am to 2:00 pm M-F

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least six months experience in construction, distribution, or manufacturing required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Basic math and reasoning skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time, repetitively
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination.

  • Experience operating a forklift

Responsibilities

  • Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications while following provided work instructions.
  • Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • For Electrical tasks, the ability to strip and wire according to panel drawings
  • Maintains logs, records, and reports data concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
  • Comply with all safety guidelines and use all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintains various assembly equipment as well as other machinery and holds the ability to perform basic repairs when needed.
  • Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
  • Responsible for ensuring product meets or exceeds established product specifications and quality standards.
  • Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
  • Performs other duties as needed to drive to the vision, fulfill the mission and abide by the values of the organization.
