The Electrified Powertrain Controls Engineer will work within a team of Powertrain controls, calibrations and integration engineers to develop electrified powertrain systems for current and next-generation electrified powertrains for Stellantis vehicles. The overall goal for the team is to develop a complete electrified powertrain that meets the vehicle functional requirements for fuel economy, emissions, drivability, and diagnostics. The ideal candidate, who is a proven leader, a strong team player and willing to work in a fast paced environment, will be responsible for delivering control algorithms, as well as processes, methods and tools to manage a variety of systems and subsystems in the Electrified Powertrain Platform. Each of the selected candidates will lead a team of 5 engineers to coordinate and facilitate the team activities and act as the single point contact for all issues related to the team. Being process oriented and having interdisciplinary experience, the ideal candidate must be able to lead the team to significantly contribute to the development of hybrid powertrain controls and enhance the adhered to processes and tools. The candidate will lead the development of torque controls for a new unique hybrid powertrain type, integrating into existing controls, while maintaining the best in class production control across all existing powertrains.
