The Torque Specialist is responsible for monitoring and auditing all torque applications and tools on the production line. This role involves utilizing statistical software for data analysis, integrating tools into network systems, reviewing torque results, and escalating any trends or out-of-spec conditions. Key duties include supporting production lines with tool-related issues, conducting daily torque audits, maintaining tooling, programming torque tools, and collaborating with the Mechanical Engineering group for fixture revisions. The specialist must adhere to safety and ergonomics, assist production with various tasks, manage torque equipment inventory, support rework, train operators, communicate with tool suppliers, and recommend process improvements.
