Troubleshoot, repair, and install low- and high-voltage industrial electrical systems for both utility and production operations. Size and install electrical conduit and wiring in accordance with NEC codes; form and thread conduit and pull field wires. Work independently to diagnose and resolve issues with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and associated components. Maintain, repair, and modify plant control systems, electrical panels, and mechanical equipment. Utilize electrical diagnostic tools (multimeters, amp clamps, meggers) to locate shorts, test circuits, and replace faulty components. Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to perform repairs. Perform system startups and operational checkouts, including calibration and power testing. Assist with downloading and reloading PLC programs to restore equipment functionality. Support equipment installations and maintain detailed documentation of changes and upgrades. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations in daily work.
