Requirements

  • Minimum four years industrial electrical experience for primary skill and attainment of qualifying skills in two additional maintenance crafts sufficient to assist other craftsmen in performance of their duties.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects, repairs, troubleshoots, installs and maintains plant electrical systems, motors, lighting systems, process alarms and interlock systems in accordance with accepted procedures and specifications.
  • Utilizes alignment and gauging tools, detail electrical drawings and electrical test equipment.
  • Operates lifting equipment.
  • Cleans up work area following completion of assigned task and properly disposes waste materials.
  • Returns tools and equipment to normal storage areas.
  • Completes other routine or assigned duties as necessary to meet the maintenance department work schedule to minimize equipment downtime.
