By working at Yellowstone National Park, you will get all three! As the Electrician, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day maintenance functions that keep the park running smoothly. Job Summary: The Electrician position involves coordinating the operation and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborating with various team members to manage inventory and documentation. The role requires adherence to company policies, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment while performing preventive maintenance and inspections. Additionally, the position emphasizes teamwork and accountability in all assigned tasks. Requirements

  • Aptitude required to complete common electrical repairs.
  • Proficient in the operation and use of common electrical repair equipment and tools.
  • Have a general knowledge of OSHA requirements and the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to read, understand and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Capable of and willing to advance his or her electrical knowledge and expertise through on-the-job training and self-study.
  • Must be at least 19 years old and have valid driver's license; good driving record required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the proper operation, testing, maintenance and repair of electrical systems in Xantrerra facilities.
  • Ensures all electrical installations, repairs and replacements meet the applicable electrical code.
  • Accountable for proper and accurate documentation, in the Computerized Maintenance Management System, of labor & materials expended in the performance of electrical maintenance.
  • Provides assistance and oversight for the seasonal opening/closing of all facilities.
  • Assists in the development and continuous improvement of preventive maintenance procedures for electrical equipment and systems.
