About The Position

This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for installing, supporting, and commissioning industrial electrical systems for anaerobic digester and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) construction projects across Ohio and Indiana. This position works under the direction of an Electrical Foreman and is focused on industrial power, controls, and construction environments. This role is not residential or light-commercial. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is comfortable working in active construction environments at agricultural and industrial facilities. Travel during the work week may be required depending on your home location but will be home on weekends (see below for details).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in the electrical trades, with experience in industrial or heavy commercial construction strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, motor controls, and basic instrumentation.
  • Ability to read and work from industrial electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with NEC and general industrial electrical code requirements.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new systems, methods, and construction techniques.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis. Unfortunately, a current or future need for sponsorship is not supported or available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation and support of industrial electrical systems for RNG and anaerobic digester construction projects.
  • Install electrical equipment including:
  • Conduit systems (rigid, EMT, PVC-coated, underground)
  • Power and control wiring (AC/DC)
  • Junction boxes, disconnects, panels, MCCs, VFDs, motors, and instrumentation
  • Pull, terminate, and label power, control, and signal cabling.
  • Assist with commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of new electrical systems.
  • Interpret and work from industrial electrical drawings, including one-lines, schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and vendor cut sheets.
  • Follow direction from the Electrical Foreman to execute work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the construction schedule.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving constructability issues in the field.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, meters, testers, and electrical trade-specific tools as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, jobsite safety rules, and applicable electrical codes.
  • Support other construction activities as needed to advance the project.
  • This role does not involve residential service work, tenant fit-outs, or production housing.
  • Other duties in support of company operations as needed.
