About The Position

This position is responsible for Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment by performing the following duties. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3)-five (5) years of electrical experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Must pass periodic random drug screens.
  • Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
  • Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record at all times.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electricians license highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
  • Deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and all Team Members by embodying our Mission Statement and Service Promise while adhering to department service standards. This entails consistency performing our service expectations of: Welcoming, Proactive, Seamless, Personalized and Valued.
  • Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed equipment.
  • Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
  • Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
  • Tests malfunctioning electrical equipment and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers, including Facilities Director and Facilities Manager to diagnose malfunction.
  • Replaces faulty electrical components of equipment such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.
  • Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as contactors, circuit breakers, etc.
  • Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors.
  • Pushes buttons and presses keys on robot controller, teach pendant, and programmable controller to program automated equipment. Test for malfunctions and verify repairs.
  • Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
  • Diagnoses and replaces faulty electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
  • Layout and install new wiring, wall plugs and circuit breakers. Make electrical run as needed for offices and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
  • Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
