The Master Electrician plays a critical leadership role in supporting our foundation repair, crawlspace encapsulation, and basement waterproofing operations. This position is responsible for the expert installation, servicing, and inspection of electrical systems that power moisture control equipment such as sump pumps, dehumidifiers, and lighting in residential environments. The Master Electrician ensures all work meets or exceeds state and local electrical codes, leads apprentices and journeymen in the field, and upholds the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. Duties and Responsibilities Design, install, and inspect dedicated circuits for sump pumps, dehumidifiers, and other moisture mitigation systems. Mount and wire lighting systems, outlets, switches, and GFCIs in crawlspaces and basements with precision and code compliance. Conduct advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical systems, resolving complex issues efficiently. Ensure all electrical installations meet NEC standards and local building codes; maintain compliance documentation. Lead and mentor electrical apprentices and journeymen, providing hands-on instruction and supervision. Collaborate with waterproofing and encapsulation teams to coordinate electrical integration into broader system installations. Perform comprehensive safety assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate electrical hazards. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed. Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, and team members regarding scope, progress, and safety. Serve as a technical authority on electrical systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day. Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
