SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Manager, the incumbent adjusts repairs, troubleshoots and maintains electrical applications on and off-site. SYNOPSIS Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent adjusts repairs, troubleshoots and maintains electrical applications on and off-site. Repairs electrical systems through out the property and on off-site facilities. Replace light bulbs, ballasts, sockets, switches, GFI receptacles and dimmers. Repairs electrical systems through out the property and on off-site facilities. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to work on a boom lift and high jack – to change ceiling lights.

Requirements

  • Must possess excellent hand / eye coordination as well as close vision.
  • Must be able to read, understand and interpret schematics, plans, diagrams, and drawings.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to work on a boom lift and high jack to change ceiling lights.
  • High school diploma, trade school certificate preferred as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience.
  • Prolonged period of walking, reaching, climbing and moving / carrying weight of up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in high places on ladders, and work around high voltage and fiberglass insulation.

Responsibilities

  • Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
  • Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.
  • Conducts walk-through inspections; lighting rounds of entire property.
  • Repairs electrical systems through out the property, including on and off-site facilities.
  • Replace light bulbs, ballasts, sockets, switches, GFI receptacles, and dimmers.
  • Understand basic electrical code as it applies to commercial facilities.
  • Records gauge / meter readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
  • Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
  • Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately.
  • Maintains tools, equipment and supplies in good, clean, operating order; monitors supplies.
  • Interfaces and coordinates with internal departments to schedule installations and repairs so as to cause minimal business interruption.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Promotes positive public / employee relations at all times.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
