The Electrician Craftsman will assist electricians in planning, lay-out, installation, testing, and repair of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, motors, equipment, and control systems according to all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. This role may also involve working in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision, and requires the ability to take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman.

Requirements

Must have a one – two years’ experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry and have a general understanding of the electrical trade.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)

Nice To Haves

NCCER Core Curriculum and /or a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.
