About The Position

Ace Handyman Services - South Bay is seeking experienced, multi-skilled Craftsmen to join their growing team. This is a W2 position offering the flexibility of independent work while providing consistent, year-round job flow. The company handles scheduling, customer acquisition, and logistics, allowing the Craftsman to focus on delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for professionals with experience across multiple trades who take pride in their work and enjoy working directly with clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in handyman services, residential construction, or home remodeling
• Strong hands-on experience across multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, tiling, etc.)
• Proficiency in drywall repair and mudding
• Ability to perform minor plumbing and electrical work
• Own a comprehensive set of hand and power tools required for the job
• Own a truck or van with valid insurance
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must reside within 15–20 miles of the South Bay / beach cities area
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable using smartphone apps for job management and invoicing
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Professional demeanor with strong customer service and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Leadership or team lead experience in construction or maintenance environments
• Strong customer satisfaction mindset and client-facing experience
• Familiarity with project management or scheduling software

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of handyman services including carpentry, drywall, painting, tiling, and minor plumbing/electrical
• Complete drywall repair and mudding to a high standard
• Diagnose issues and provide effective repair solutions
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide excellent service
• Manage job documentation, invoicing, and updates via smartphone apps
• Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic at all times
• Work independently while coordinating with office staff as needed
