About The Position

We are seeking Electricians/Control Technicians in Reidsville, NC! How will you play an integral role? Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems and production machines: following diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications. Completes PM and Service request in timely manner with excellent workmanship Provides Electrical/Mechanical support to operations team as needed Ability to perform mechanical work with maintenance staff assisting on various repairs Account for parts used from storeroom to ensure parts inventory accuracy Share knowledge with team members to help develop and strengthen the department Utilize CMMS system - parts look up, entering and closing orders On call and willing to work overtime when needed to support operation What is my earning potential? We offer competitive hourly rates ranging from $25.00/hr. to $35.00/hr. , depending on experience and education. In addition, our shift premium for our 12-hour night shift is $1.00/hr. Experience with motor controls, VFD’s, PLC troubleshooting, motor installations, transformers, pneumatics and hydraulics. 480V and low voltage controls. Capable of installing power and control circuits including raceways. Proficient understanding of PLC logic, can read and follow ladder logic for trouble shooting PLC input/output issues. Capable of replacing PLC components. Proficient knowledge of VFD’s, capable of accessing perimeters for trouble shooting or drive replacement. Ability to perform mechanical work with maintenance staff assisting on various repairs. Knowledge and understanding of NFPA 70E, Arc Flash safety requirements. Prior forklift, scissor lift, and industrial truck experience. Prior experience with CMMS system preferred. Prior recycling manufacturing experience preferred, not required. Education High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment, electrical experience required A two-year associate's degree in Mechatronics Engineering Technology, or Electrical/Electronic Technology or equivalent is preferred, or significant comparable experience is required.
