Position Purpose To ensure the company’s IT strategies are implemented and maintained while supporting the business and internal customers with all IT needs.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of professional IT experience in a manufacturing setting
Experience with virtualization technologies, preferably VMware.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS & Clients; MS Office products.
Experience and/or knowledge in administering various network concepts: e-mails, firewalls, client-servers, network security, network protocols, etc.
Experience in maintaining and repairing PCs and printers
Problem-solving attitude
Knowledge of Network fundamentals

Responsibilities

Virtualization
Manage and maintain our VMware-based virtualization environment, including creating, configuring, and troubleshooting virtual machines.
Testing New Software Functionality and User Training:
Test new software features, ensuring they meet user requirements.
Comprehensive training to end users on the functionality and optimal utilization of new software.
Hardware and Software Installation and Configuration:
Install and configure computer hardware, software, operating systems, network components, and peripheral devices.
seamless integration of printers and scanners into the network environment.
System and Network Configuration/Monitoring:
Configure, monitor and proactively maintain computer systems and networks, optimizing their performance and reliability.
Timely updates and security patches to enhance system health.
Swift Response to Service Issues and Requests:
Promptly address service issues and user requests to minimize operational disruptions.
Efficient troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems.
User Account Setup:
Set up and configure accounts for new users, granting them access to the necessary resources while maintaining security protocols.
Equipment Ordering, Setup, Repair and Replacement:
Conduct expert diagnostics and perform necessary repairs on equipment, minimizing downtime.
Order and set up equipment for new hires and existing employees as needed.
Participates in employee data management.
Controls the correctness of printers, copier machines, etc.
Controls the correctness of the video surveillance system
