The University of Maine Facilities Management Department seeks applications for an Electrical Specialist CL1. This position works in the FM electric Shop as an electrical specialist and performs defined responsibilities and tasks related to maintaining the operations of assigned electrical l systems. Electricians are life safety and electrical specialists dedicated to performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and installing and inspecting systems. They respond to emergent work, make repairs during power outages, respond to service calls, maintain heat pumps and refrigeration units critical for lab operations, and maintain all campus life safety systems. Full-time, regular, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. Work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Starting pay for this full-time position is $23.77/hr.
