About The Position

Abacus is currently seeking an Electrical Service Manager to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. The Electrical Service Manager oversees the Electrical Service Division. As the Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, planning, and execution of the division's activities. This includes leading a team of professionals, developing and implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the division meets its financial and operational goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Graduate/GED Equivalent
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably within a technical or service environment
  • Home Service experience ( required )
  • Wireman, Journeyman and or Master Licens e ( required )

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement divisional strategies to achieve growth and profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term plans, objectives , and policies for the division.
  • Keeping up to date with NEC requirements and municipal jurisdictions
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high- performing team of electrical service professionals.
  • Drive the Electrical department through training and development of field technicians.
  • Coach electricians on how to increase average ticket and manage monthly truck revenue.
  • Oversee and manage the division's budget, financial targets, and cost-control measures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Handle all escalated customer concerns by demonstrating 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain operational excellence through invoice completion, inventory control, safety awareness, and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
