We're looking for an experienced Electrical Service Manager to lead our service department and help drive operational excellence and profitability. Position Summary The Electrical Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service division, including managing technicians, coordinating service calls, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving departmental performance. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and business acumen.

Requirements

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum [5+] years of experience in electrical service work
  • Prior leadership or management experience in an electrical or construction environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and codes
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, estimates, and service documentation
  • Proficiency with service management software and basic computer applications
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the electrical service team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Oversee daily service operations, dispatching, and job prioritization
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards
  • Serve as a point of contact for key customers, resolving issues and maintaining strong relationships
  • Review service tickets, estimates, time keeping sheets and invoices for accuracy and profitability
  • Monitor response time, job margins, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with project management, sales, and accounting teams
  • Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, upselling, and service growth
