As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. This role serves as the principal Electrical Safety Leader, responsible for defining, aligning, and implementing a comprehensive, cross-functional vision and strategy aimed at achieving electrical safety across the entire data center fleet. In this role, you will act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical authority to influence safe design, construction, and operational practices, while simultaneously leading a robust portfolio of core electrical safety programs. A core function of this role is driving innovation by researching, standardizing, and deploying cutting-edge technologies and practices to elevate safety performance, all while establishing and enforcing a rigorous compliance and risk management framework backed by stringent KPI tracking and a formalized training and competency governance structure for all personnel. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
