Requirements

Able to use multiple software programs (Microsoft Office, Vista, Adobe, Procore, Accubid, etc.)
Ability to learn additional submittal/document control software platforms.
Knowledge of the latest version of the National Electric Code.
Ability to be organized.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of ethical rules and regulations.
Treat suppliers in a fair and unbiased manner.
Work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment.
Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit accurate and complete bids, budgets, estimates, and change orders assigned by management.
Using relevant experience and knowledge, exercise independent discretion in determining the amount of labor hours and amount of material necessary to complete a project, for the benefit of obtaining profitable work for the company.
Visit jobsites and attend pre-bid meetings as necessary for verification of site conditions and bid requirements.
Prepare professional, detailed proposal letters.
Ensure that bid deadlines are met.
Coordinate with Project Administrator for bid documents, and for vendor quotes.
Follow-up / negotiation via telephone with clients for contract award
Attend post bid reviews.
Other tasks assigned by management.
