About The Position
As an Estimator, you'll be a key part of our preconstruction team-analyzing plans, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting project success from bid to closeout.
Requirements
- 4+ years in electrical construction (commercial/industrial preferred)
- High school diploma or GED (Post-Secondary Certificate preferred)
- Strong math, communication, organization, and time management
- Proficiency in Accubid & other estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and blueprint reading
- Valid state driver's license
- Team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
- References, Background Check, Drug Screen, Valid Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Review blueprints, perform takeoffs, and prepare detailed cost estimates
- Create and maintain BOMs and proposals
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients
- Assist in preparing budgets and schedules for awarded projects
- Support Project Teams throughout the bid process
- Track actual project costs vs. estimates and recommend improvements
