Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern in Electrical Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of a product from concept through to deployment. The position requires research, design, development, and testing of complex electrical designs, including documentation development, hands-on test and troubleshooting, and formal documentation of the electrical design. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of circuit simulation and design, laboratory tools and equipment, and analytical aptitude. The candidate must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
Requirements
- Pursing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools such as LTSpice or PSpice.
- Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) topics such as antenna design, HFSS modeling, RF analysis, or wave propagation.
- Use of lab tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, function generator, multimeter, etc.
- Programming skills such as C++.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- This position will require a government security clearance.
- This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

- Ability to troubleshoot a variety of electrically related problems, document testing processes and results in the appropriate problem reporting system
- Excellent communication skills to interface with peers, supervisors, and on-site customer personnel
- Experience with underwater vehicle development design
- FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) design
- CompTIA certification(s)
- Electromagnetic interference testing
- Fourier analysis
