Requirements

B.S. in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in the design of building power systems for high rise residential, hotel and office buildings, and other commercial, institutional and healthcare facilities.
Proficient with the use of AutoCAD and Revit software.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment

Nice To Haves

PE registration is highly preferred, or EIT with the ability to obtain a P.E.

Responsibilities

Performing electrical power design for variety of projects to include but not limited to: buildings and facilities, including hospitals, laboratories, high rise residential, hotel and office, and other commercial and institutional projects.
Incorporating design changes using AutoCad and/or Revit software
Performing service load calculations and short circuit studies
Meeting project schedules and performing work with budgetary constraints
Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers to discuss future or current projects
Reviewing submittals and providing responses to Requests for Information
Performing other duties as assigned
