About The Position
The Electrical Engineering Intern will work with the Engineering Manager and Director of Operations to create an appropriately scoped project list addressing immediate business requirements for our Manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Individuals must be able to present and discuss project plans, requirements, test results, etc. in a team based work environment.
Nice To Haves
- Project Management experience a plus
- Exposure to LEAN methodologies
- Experience with ERP system (Oracle)
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting of electronic components, including component obsolescence support.
- Product and process improvement as related to electro-mechanical systems.
- Support roll-out of new engineering projects as related to product specifications.
- Assist in the design and development of electrical/electronic systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed to support AMETEK, Inc.’s Mission Statement and company goals.
