The Electrical Field Engineer Intern will join this environment to support ongoing projects and contribute to team efforts, learning from experienced professionals and developing capabilities within the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support in maintaining and organizing documentation related to policies, guidelines, and protocols.
  • Perform assigned tasks with diligence and attention to detail, gradually taking on more complex responsibilities as skills develop.
  • Support ongoing projects by conducting research, preparing materials, and contributing to team efforts.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and other relevant topics, compiling findings into reports or presentations.
  • Work closely with different departments to understand their functions and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
  • Observe and learn from experienced professionals, understanding the day-to-day operations and challenges of the industry.
  • If possible, attend related educational courses or training sessions offered by Ferrovial.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
  • Identify areas for improvement within existing processes and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
  • Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
