Apply communications and network concepts to support the design and integration of aircraft cabin and communication network systems. Perform and support communications and network testing activities. Conduct systems installation design, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting. Define high level and detailed network architectures, including interfaces, protocols, and topology. Collaborate with cross functional teams across electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering disciplines. Support change management through research, concepts, design reviews, trade studies, impact analysis, and implementation. Show compliance to 14CFR Part 25, Transport Canada, and EASA aircraft requirements. Research specifications for components selections. Work with suppliers and internal customers to assist with production and/or flight test personnel, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build and test issues. Review installation drawings, qualification test data and reports. With guidance, create system schematics, requirements documents, system descriptions, interface documents, wiring diagrams, certification plans, functional test requirements, test plans, test reports, and design compliance reports for new and/or upgraded aircraft systems.
