By prioritizing employee growth and development, we empower everyone to reach their full potential on their own terms, because the best work happens when you are free to be yourself and share your unique expertise.What are your contributions to the team?•    Apply communications and network concepts to support the design and integration of aircraft cabin and communication network systems. •    Perform and support communications and network testing activities. •    Conduct systems installation design, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting. •    Define high level and detailed network architectures, including interfaces, protocols, and topology. •    Collaborate with cross functional teams across electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering disciplines. •    Support change management through research, concepts, design reviews, trade studies, impact analysis, and implementation. •    Show compliance to 14CFR Part 25, Transport Canada, and EASA aircraft requirements. •    Research specifications for components selections. •    Work with suppliers and internal customers to assist with production and/or flight test personnel, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build and test issues. •    Review installation drawings, qualification test data and reports. •    With guidance, create system schematics, requirements documents, system descriptions, interface documents, wiring diagrams, certification plans, functional test requirements, test plans, test reports, and design compliance reports for new and/or upgraded aircraft systems.How to thrive in this role?•    You hold a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. •    Experience in electrical/avionics system design or related field is preferred. •    Knowledge of communications and network concepts and principles. •    Experience using communications and network test tools and methods. •    Ability to define network architectures, interfaces, protocols, and topology. •    You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical/avionics system design or related field. •    Advanced understanding of communications and network engineering concepts is a plus. •    A working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA) is a plus. •    A working knowledge of Cybersecurity and System Safety aspects of certification is a plus. •    You are proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access). •    A working knowledge of electrical, avionics, and wire harness design guidelines for CFR Part 25 aircraft is preferred. •    You must be a self-starter, able to decompose moderately complex projects into individual tasks and processes. •    You must exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. •    You should be an organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition.

Requirements
