Responsibilities include the mechanical assembly of electrical components, control panels and enclosures. The Electrical Assembler is also responsible for machine wiring and for performing quality testing on electrical systems. The standard shift schedule for the Electrical Assembler position hours are 6:30 am – 5:00 pm. Monday through Thursday. Actual hours may vary by overtime requirements and flexible shift scheduling to meet demand.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED required. Vocational school, trade school, or formal OTJ apprenticeship training preferred.
  • 2 or more years experience in electrical assembly required. Experience in the machine tool or industrial machinery industries preferred.
  • Knowledge of NEC, CSA, NFPA standards
  • Knowledge of best practices in machine and control box wiring
  • Proficient at reading electrical schematics
  • Troubleshoots, problem solves well
  • Works to continuously improve processes and procedures
  • Must be able to lift electrical boxes (35 lbs)

Nice To Haves
