This specific position is within Novanta's ATI Industrial Automation business unit, a leading developer of robotic end-of-arm technologies that enhance productivity and flexibility in automated solutions. The Assembler I will be responsible for assembling and testing components to create finished products, working collaboratively with a team to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety in the production process.

Requirements

Must be able to solder small gage wire.
Capable of using magnifying devices to assemble and solder small assemblies.
Have experience in assembly, testing, and operating machinery in manufacturing.
Have mechanical abilities and a high level of precision.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions with general reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
Be detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Reading and interpreting assembly instructions, technical drawings, and schematics
Preparing and assembling components to create finished products
Operating machinery and equipment used in the assembly process
Inspecting and testing finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Identifying and reporting any issues or defects in the production process
