Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Our employees work on the world’s most advanced electronics. Come build your career with BAE Systems. This is a 2nd shift position working a 4/10 schedule-start time is 4:30pm. This shift will have a 10% shift differential added to the hourly rate. Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer skills, including using software for MRP and data collection.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
  • High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
  • Ability to become solder certified
  • Computer literacy, and familiarity with Microsoft suit of products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a successful working team
  • A passion for learning/knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced in electronic assembly 3+ years
  • IPC-610/620 Certifications
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-883 Methods 2021 and 2017
  • Solder Reflow experience

Responsibilities

  • Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production subassemblies by following work plans.
  • Inspects results to ensure conformance
